Head of Sales, International Distribution

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Principal sales executive for the Company's International Distribution activity

· Management of the International distribution division, principally sales, but including content and rights acquisitions, management of staff, costs and division profitability.

· Responsible for distribution of over 3,000 hours of library programming.

· Negotiate all distribution agreements and oversee full execution of agreements.

· Oversee all sales, marketing, and program acquisition; activity and client service; coordinate with legal and finance

· Coordinate with finance on budget creation, sales forecast and expense control.

· Work closely with CEO, CFO, Production, Development, and Legal to negotiate international rights with US Networks.

· Attend international markets including but not limited to MIPTV and MIPCOM

· Responsible for all aspects of PR, advertising and marketing for the international launch of new programming.

· Increase GRB’s catalogue by creating strategic partnerships with key producers.

· Must have finger ‘on the pulse’ of the market to be able to provide in-depth feedback with respect to the markets itself, trends, and individual programs pitched.

Salary - upwards of $150k per year plus Incentives, depending on experience.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

· Five plus years of experience in International Distribution sales as team or group leader.

· Excellent relationships with the networks, platforms, and production companies.

· Strong knowledge of both the US and international market.

· Extensive experience in the television industry with strong understanding of factual programming.

· Strong creative acumen.

· High level of effective negotiating skills.

· Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.

· Strong organizational skills.

· Self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
